SUMMARY OF POSITION:

An Identity Access Manager (IAM) Engineer should demonstrate commitment to delivering distinctive service. This position will be responsible for the architecture, design, and implementation of IAM tools and technologies. This position is a "technical owner" for different technology in the organization and is the subject matter expert (SME) for those technology roles. An Identity Access Management Engineer is also responsible for documentation of systems, workflows, operational turnover for support, and cross training other team members.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide distinctive service to clients and prospects, in person and over the telephone. Respond to client inquiries and satisfactorily resolve client issues. Support firm-wide achievement of the three-ring standard (all phones answered by a live person within three rings).
  • Works to establish an Identity Access Management environment by implementing, supporting, and maximizing the performance of, among other IAM related systems, the bank's privileged access management (PAM) solution and IAM platform.
  • Maximizes performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting systems and workflow problems, scheduling and assisting in system upgrades and collaborating with peers on improving overall IAM optimization.
  • Secures environment by establishing and enforcing policies, identifying security gaps, and providing recommended resolutions to increase overall security posture or maintain organizational risk within acceptable levels.
  • Provide break/fix support and IMAC completion for Pinnacle associates as needed.
  • Assists in streamlining Information Services Activities such as project implementation, technical improvements, etc.
  • Meet all the client's financial needs, both business and personal, and refer clients to other specialty areas such as Trust, Investments, Insurance, Treasury Management, etc. as appropriate.
  • Assist other team members as needed to ensure delivery of distinctive service.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

DESCRIPTION OF EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING:

  • Bachelor's degree is related degree required - information technology-related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in identity access management, system support, software security monitoring and implementation, systems security, and architecture.
  • Microsoft, network security, and computer security knowledge required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or related software.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Windows desktop, and server operating systems. Other technologies based on role being fulfilled. *e.g., BeyondTrust, SailPoint, Ping, ServiceNow etc.
  • Foundational understanding of core IAM concepts, including lifecycle management, access certification campaigns, role-based access, separation of duties, least privileged access, etc.
  • Knowledge of federal and state banking regulations and compliance requirements as it relates to aspects of data integrity, security of data, and privacy. Understanding of control measures and requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley, GLBA, PCI, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks.
  • Excellent client service skills. Tact and diplomacy in dealing with both clients and associates.
  • The physical activities of this job include but are not limited to the ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time, use of manual dexterity, verbal communication, visual acuity, repetitive motion, and the ability to hear. Often long periods of mental concentration are required. Other activities are the ability to bend, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, lift, and grasp.
