Where Your Career is a Force for Good! WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): This is an individual contributor position reporting to the Manager, Responder Mobilization. This position manages the resourcing of responders to all active operations and supports and assists local recruitment and deployment for all leveled operations. This role develops, engages and manages Disaster Workforce volunteer support teams and completes unit on-call shifts coverage to meet the needs of active operations and serve as a customer service hub for both DROs and regions needing support. This role is expected to build and maintain strong relationships with divisions and regions, including Division Disaster Executives, Regional Disaster Officers, and Disaster Workforce Engagement staff. Core work hours* - SECAR/Northeast - 8a-5p ET SWARM/Central Atlantic - 9a-6p ET/8a-5p CT/7a-4p MT Pacific/North Central - 10a-7p ET/9a-6p CT/8a-5p MT/7a-4p PT *In addition to core work hours, operational activity may necessitate extended evening and/or morning hours depending on time zone(s) of operational activity. Candidate will also be responsible for 1 week of on-call shift per month, supplemented by qualified and trained volunteers; hours are Monday thru Friday 5p-9p ET and 8a-9p ET on Saturday and Sunday in level 2 or 3 DOCC activation and Monday thru Friday 5p-11p ET and 8a-11p on Saturday and Sunday in level 1 DOCC activation. * Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted). Physical Requirements: Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions. PAY INFORMATION: The annual salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role.
