Job Overview

The Manager, Communications Planning partners with the Director, Media Strategy and Integrated Planning to support the development and execution of integrated media strategies and activation plans across brand and performance paid channels while managing day-to-day budget tracking and financials. The role coordinates daily media activities, monitors budgets, and works crossfunctionally to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and aligned with business objectives.

The Manager collaborates closely with marketing teams, channel specialists, project management, finance, external agency partners, and senior leadership, as appropriate. This hands-on role suits a fast-paced operator who excels at managing multiple campaigns simultaneously while contributing to strategic planning in a highly collaborative, partnership-driven environment.

Success is measured by on-time campaign launches, accuracy of financial reporting, effective coordination of full-funnel media execution timelines, and timely delivery of reporting for sales and marketing teams.

What You Will Do



  • Support the development and communication of full funnel integrated media strategies in partnership with the Director, ensuring alignment across retail initiatives and channels.
  • Translate media strategy into actionable campaign plans, working closely with channel teams and agency partners to drive flawless execution.
  • Collaborate with agency partners, finance, project management, channel teams, and marketing strategy teams to ensure seamless media execution and timely plan updates or revisions.
  • Serve as a key liaison between strategy and project management, ensuring campaign objectives, priorities, timelines, and performance expectations are clearly defined and executed.
  • Develop presentations, media briefs, campaign summaries, and performance recaps that clearly communicate strategy, results, insights, and next steps.
  • Manage day-to-day campaign execution across multiple initiatives, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and budgets are tracked and delivered with precision.
  • Own flowcharts, budget tracking, and financial accuracy, maintaining detailed documentation across required financial and planning systems.
  • Partner with peers on campaign performance analysis, translating data into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.

Skills You Will Need

Integrated Media Strategy: Strong understanding of fullfunnel media strategy across paid channels, with the ability to support integrated plans that balance brand and performance objectives and align to business priorities.

Campaign Planning & Execution: Proven ability to translate media strategy into actionable campaign plans and manage daytoday execution across multiple initiatives in a fastpaced environment.

CrossFunctional & Agency Collaboration: Demonstrated skill partnering with channel teams, marketing, finance, project management, agency partners, and senior stakeholders to ensure aligned goals, clear expectations, and seamless execution.

Budget & Financial Management: Strong financial acumen with experience owning media flowcharts, budget tracking, reconciliations, and financial accuracy across planning and financial systems.

Project Coordination & Prioritization: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and dependencies while performing accurately under pressure.

Performance Analysis & Insights: Ability to support campaign performance analysis and translate data into clear, actionable insights, recommendations, and next steps for internal stakeholders.

Communication & Documentation: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing media briefs, presentations, campaign summaries, and performance recaps.

Executional Rigor & Attention to Detail: Detailoriented, dependable operator with a strong focus on accuracy, followthrough, and accountability in campaign execution and reporting.

Strategic & Tactical Balance: Comfortable operating handson in executional details while maintaining a strategic lens on media effectiveness and business impact.

Learning Agility & Ownership: Proactive, growthoriented mindset with eagerness to learn, take ownership of work, and assume increasing responsibility in a collaborative, evolving environment.

Who You Are



  • Candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.
  • 5-7 years of experience in paid media; Retail, QSR, or similar high-volume, fast paced B2C industry. Experience at a media agency and/or on the brand side preferred.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
