TEKsystems is seeking a detailoriented and proactive Project Assistant to support our Anchorage, Alaska-based client with their project intake activities across planning, coordination, and execution. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset who enjoys working with data, improving processes, and ensuring accuracy across systems and documentation. What You'll Do Organization & Documentation * Maintain accurate, wellorganized project files, records, and intake systems * Ensure all project data and documentation is complete, current, and errorfree Analytical & Data Support * Review and validate project data to ensure accuracy and consistency * Identify trends, gaps, or discrepancies and provide insights to support decisions Process Improvement * Proactively identify inefficiencies within project intake workflows * Recommend and support improvements to processes and best practices Communication & Collaboration * Serve as a point of coordination between team members and stakeholders * Ensure clear, timely, and professional communication across project activities Required Qualifications * 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or a related role * Strong attention to detail with a background in data validation or analysis (e.g., background screening, auditing, finance, compliance, or similar) * Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools * Selfstarter mentality with a strong sense of ownership and accountability * Professional, positive, and collaborative demeanor Nice to Have * Procurement experience * Project support or project coordination background * Familiarity with tools such as Smartsheets or Salesforce Key Skills & Traits * Highly organized and detaildriven * Analytical and methodical thinker * Processimprovement mindset * Strong written and verbal communication * Motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Anchorage, AK. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
