Overview We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Engineer / Field Technician to support and evolve our global end-user computing environment. This hybrid role blends hands-on field support with device engineering and automation efforts, supporting approximately 2,000 end users across a high-touch, professional environment.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable resolving complex desktop issues as they are designing, deploying, and optimizing modern device management solutions using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot. Key Responsibilities Field Support & End-User Services (50%) * Provide L2-L3 desktop support in a primarily Windows-based environment * Perform device imaging, provisioning, and setup using Intune, Autopilot, and limited SCCM * Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and application issues for end users globally * Deliver white-glove, high-touch support to executives and business-critical users * Collaborate with a global team of approximately 10 field technicians Endpoint Engineering & Device Management (50%) * Own, manage, and continuously improve the device lifecycle for Windows endpoints * Design, build, and optimize Windows Autopilot deployments (configuration-focused, not just execution) * Implement persona-based provisioning models (e.g., Finance, Tax, HR) * Automate application access, policies, and configurations based on user role * Manage endpoint compliance, configuration profiles, and security baselines * Oversee OS lifecycle management, including Windows updates and patching * Assist with the implementation and adoption of new endpoint tools and technologies, such as Nexthink Technical Focus * Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and related services * Deep knowledge of Microsoft Intune and endpoint management best practices * Advanced Windows Autopilot configuration and deployment experience * Endpoint automation, policy enforcement, and compliance management * Familiarity with Azure AD / Entra ID, device identity, and access models * Experience managing Windows updates, security standards, and endpoint hardening Required Skills * Windows Desktop Support (L2/L3) * Device Imaging & Provisioning * Microsoft Intune * Windows Autopilot * Endpoint Management & Automation Environment & Scale * ~2,000+ end-user environment (Sony Electronics) * Global footprint with distributed users and teams * High-visibility, professional, and polished workplace Additional Qualifications * Strong interpersonal and communication skills (critical for success in this role) * Professional presence and customer-focused mindset * Ability to balance reactive support with proactive engineering initiatives *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Paramus, NJ. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
