Job Description:

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Math skills, ability to move/lift 50lbs
  • Read, write, and understand English.
  • Follow safety rules.
  • Basic Understanding of Chemical Material Handling.
  • Must be forklift certified
  • Must be a team player and work well as a team member and tanker drivers

Responsibilities

  • Prepare for and unload tankers as per our incoming tanker schedule.
    • Make sure that quality samples are given to lab for approval (with COA)
    • Log sample into Lab raw material tracking log.
    • Verify tank capacity and tote any material that will not fit in the bulk tank.
    • Rinse pump and cleanup as necessary
    • Fill out and maintain receiving log.
    • Sign BOLs and driver paperwork. Collect copies for Zep retain.
  • Clean bulk storage areas and housekeeping
    • Pits under tanks and offloading areas
      • Test storm water before releasing from pits - tote up as needed.
      • Log storm water results in storm water log.
    • Consolidate raw material totes as needed
    • Keep tote areas organized and clean of debris.
    • Pressure wash and vacuum up dirty water as needed.
    • Keep forklift maintained and cleaned.
  • Safety
    • Make sure required PPE is worn by operator and the tanker drivers during the offloading process.
    • Tanker unload process must be monitored by driver and tanker offloading operator.
    • Cleanup any spills immediately - Report spills to supervisor.
    • Fill out daily forklift inspection
    • Report any malfunction to any equipment to supervisor
  • Other
    • On the job training will be provided for process details. Probably 1 - 2 weeks.
    • Responsibilities may be changed or added as required
