Position Summary:

Stellantis is seeking Battery Team Members to perform a variety of functions. In this role, selected individuals could be responsible for preforming a variety of jobs in battery assembly. The operator is responsible for operating the standard procedures of lithium-ion battery production with manufacturing equipment.

Roles & Responsibilities:



  • Conduct quality checks and ensure strict compliance with quality and safety regulations and standards to include submission to an annual blood test and/or color blindness exam (i.e., Ishihara test)
  • Engage in basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance throughout the production process, including equipment inspections
  • Collect qualifying products and package for shipment
  • Monitor, interact with computerized manufacturing equipment to produce batteries and check equipment regularly to ensure normal operating activity
  • Work in a team environment and effectively communicate throughout the organization
  • Check all work orders, instructions, and specifications on the production check sheet before starting every production lot
  • Perform other position related duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)
  • Ability to work multi-shift, alternative work schedules, overtime, weekends, or holidays as required


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Previous manufacturing experience



Working Conditions:



  • Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 40 pounds frequently
  • Ability to work in tight or closed spaces
  • Ability to work around the potential exposure to dust and chemicals
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments
  • Ability to wear appropriate PPE as deemed essential for the job function
  • To safely perform the essential functions of the position you must be able to distinguish colors
