Operations Analyst- External Custody Team

The External Custody Team is looking to fill an Entry Level Operations Analyst position. This team will provide support on back office processing for the Enhanced Aggregation Services offered to our SEI Wealth Platform banking firms. The individual we are seeking must be self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and staff concurrently under a time-sensitive delivery schedule; be goal-oriented and have above average communication skills. The Analyst is required to have exceptional problem solving, and communication skills. Have the ability to interact with the technical support teams and department supervisors, as well as provide detailed processing documentation and files that describe the group's problem solving activities. This individual will function as an extension of management, cross-train staff, and develop a strong core team to ensure tasks are performed in an efficient, time sensitive manner.

What you'll do:

  • Provide technical, industry, process, and trouble-shooting support to a team of operations analysts and specialists within and outside of their own unit/discipline.
  • Responsible for the daily process of activities.
  • Viewed as the 'subject matter expert' within Operations and/or SEI.
  • Manages large-scale projects in terms of criticality and urgency relative to importance for the firm, urgency of time to market, or other measurements deemed applicable by management.
  • Primary focus is on day-to-day operational execution, although roles will also include contributing to strategic planning within area of expertise.
  • May be required to provide supervisory responsibilities and apply independent judgement and decision making based on area of expertise.
  • Will act as escalation point and subject matter expert.
  • Direction given to peers and helps complete knowledge transfer to teams.
  • Key contributor in decision making process.
  • Other duties as assigned

What we need from you:

  • Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent work experience required. Preference in: Accounting, Finance or Business related field.
  • Trade Data Management System (TDMS) knowledge is preferred
  • SEI Wealth Platform (SWP) knowledge is preferred
