Yoh is looking for an Material Handler to come and join our Biotech/ Pharma client in their state of the art manufacturing building. The ideal individual should have a great understanding on how material is received, moved, and shipped within an organization. In this role, you will be responsible for handling and receiving of materials, delivery of products to end users, picking and packing of products, and assisting the shipping dept as needed. The Individual must bring a can-do attitude and sense of purpose to the job, flexible in changing direction and methods, thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at managing multiple priorities, able to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization and have the prior work experience needed to quickly learn protocols. Industry: Bio Tech/ manufacturing (Supply Chain) Location: Pleasanton CA Hours: 8-4:30pm Compensation: $22-26 /hour DOE Type: 6 month Contract Responsibilities Ensure incoming packages are inspected, counted, and delivered to the end user in a timely manner Maintain inventory recording, labeling, and placing materials in stock based on the designated inventory locations Manage general lab supplies for Production and R&D to ensure the supplies do not stock out Picking and packing of temperature sensitive and ambient goods in preparation for delivery to internal and external customer which requires to work in a -20 degree environment for periods of time Process PO receipts and inventory movements forms through our ERP system. (oracle) Assist with cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy Driving of company vehicles to deliver incoming packages and internal requests Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent 2-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience in Pharma/Biotech Manufacturing operating material handling equipment preferred Must be able to work well in a collaborative team environment Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment, to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials up to 50-70lbs. Must be able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and relevant warehouse management ERP software (preferred Oracle) Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations which may have been provided by job boards.
