Sr. Research Associate -Molecular Immunology
Primary Duties : The Yoh resource is expected to apply expertise across several practical skills in support of the Client's Vaccines R&D Global Immunology function, including spectral flow cytometry, peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) processing, B cell staining and sorting, high-throughput immunoglobulin repertoire sequencing (both 10x Genomics and plate-based approaches), bioinformatics analysis of antibody sequences, and downstream functional assessment using various platforms. The role is a lab-based research associate who will be participating in various teams to support preclinical and early clinical evaluation of vaccine candidates against various respiratory viruses. Knowledge of immunoassay-based instruments, including flow cytometers, cell sorters, multi-mode plate readers and plate washers will be required. Individual will be performing laboratory work including immunoassays, recording data in specified formats and/or recording detailed day-to-day work in electronic laboratory notebook; reagent preparation; lab housekeeping and maintenance. There will be requirement to work with animal and human blood, serum, plasma and other samples sources. Applicant must be capable of working both independently and as part of a structured team.
