Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine Job Description
The College of Veterinary Medicine at MU is on a mission to educate and train outstanding clinicians and scientists, generate new knowledge, engage stakeholders, and foster economic growth, all of which promote and protect the health and welfare of animals and people. We are seeking a Coordinator of Admissions and DVM Program Recruitment to join our student services team under the Associate Dean for Student and Academic Affairs. This position will manage the recruitment strategy and student initiatives for the College of Veterinary Medicine. They will manage the admission process as well as supervise staff in admissions, student recruitment, and student initiatives. Specific duties of the position include:
The MU College of Veterinary Medicine receives over 2,000 applications for admission to our DVM program and accepts around 120 new students each year. Applications come from across Missouri and the United States. Our DVM program is a top-ranked program in the United States. At MU, the first two years of the four-year program are spent in classroom and laboratory instruction, with the second two years devoted primarily to hands-on clinical instruction and training in our Veterinary Health Center. This position will regularly work standard business hours, Monday through Friday. However, they will be expected to work some evening and weekend hours for admissions and recruitment related events and activities. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications

Anticipated Hiring Range
