Overview
To aid the interdisciplinary team in the assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy/counseling, and discharge planning for patients on the inpatient behavioral health units. Qualifications Certifications:
Education: Master's Degree: Counseling; Psychology; Social Work Work Experience: 1+ years of experience Other Requirements
Required English Skills Advanced reading skills Advanced writing skills Advanced oral skills Communication Skills Ability to respond appropriately to customer/co-worker Interaction with a wide variety of people Maintain confidential information Ability to communicate only the facts to recipients or to decline to reveal information Ability to project a professional, friendly, helpful demeanor Computer Skills Basic computer knowledge: Uses word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail application, and web browser. Comfortable within a Windows OS and learning new applications
Responsibilities Provides individual, group, and family counseling to assist patients/families in achieving treatment goals.
Completes initial and ongoing assessments of patients.
Collaborates with other members of the treatment team as well as community providers in the development and implementation of an individualized treatment plan and provides referrals and discharge planning.
Responsible for assisting staff as well as patients and their families with legal issues associated with treatment to ensure that patients/families' rights are protected and that all treatment rendered is in accordance law.

Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $32.05per hour - $55.13per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
