Duration: 6-12 months contract


Pay Range: $43-50 - W2 hourly

Job Description:

* Develop partnerships with senior managers, IPTs, customers, and quality functions of the program team to define steps necessary to implement proactive quality strategies

* Engage on both strategic and tactical levels, focusing on quality, cost and schedule performance, early engagement, influencing and providing differentiating quality value to program teams and customers.

* Generation of new CORE (Customer Oriented Result and Excellence), CoPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) projects to reduce costs/increase efficiency

* Monitor / lead root cause corrective action (RCCA)

* Facilitate the completion of internal and customer required First Article Inspection (FAI) Reviews

* Participation and preparation for customer, third party regulatory and internal audits

Qualifications You Must Have:

* Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years of prior relevant experience.

* Working experience with AS9100 Quality Management Systems.

* Working experience leading teams in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative action.

* Working experience in providing technical program support for manufacturing and/or design processes.

Qualifications We Prefer:

* Six Sigma, Lean, and / or American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications

* Experienced team player who achieves goals and strives for continuous improvement.

* Experience Reviewing Purchase Orders, Customer Drawings, Corrective Action Requests (CAR)

* Experience interfacing directly with customers

* Experience leading customer audits

* Experience presenting, reviewing and/or approving changes through a formal Change Board.

* Experience exercising judgement and apply resolution-making skills with appropriate supervisory intervention.

* Experience in risk mitigation and opportunity management.

* Experience translating system requirements and contractual requirements to ensure full compliance is flowed down through product, assembly, and test documentation.

* Experience applying people skills and working with customers, suppliers, and in a team environment.

* Experience in First Article Inspections per AS9102.

* Experience in one or all of the following is highly desired: Six Sigma, Process Certification, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and Product Part Approval Process (PPAP)

* Experienced in 8D, quality tools, 5 Whys of Root Cause Analysis, and SPC analysis

* Ability to lead a cross-functional team and provide forecasting to reach established goals

* Ability to assimilate, analyze, and present data to leaders, customers, and peers

* Experiencing interfacing with internal and external customers as well as all levels of personnel
