Job Description:
SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED
We're looking for an outstanding mechanical engineer / process engineer who combines exceptional technical capabilities with demonstrated ability to drive manufacturing efficiency and process improvements. This person will be responsible for developing and optimizing assembly processes through interpretation of mechanical designs, implementation of lean manufacturing principles, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in process engineering suited for both prototype and production environments, with the ability to influence design decisions through DFX (Design for Excellence) methodologies

REQUIRED SKILLS
* BSc/MSc in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
* Experience with 3D CAD software and technical documentation
* Demonstrated expertise in developing and optimizing assembly processes
* Strong background in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
* Experience with production tooling and fixture design
* Process validation and quality control methodology expertise
* Project management and cross-functional team leadership
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Excellent communication and technical writing skills

PREFERRED SKILLS
* Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
* Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and Six Sigma methodologies
* Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems
* Experience with time study and line balancing techniques
* Industrial automation and robotics integration experience
* Knowledge of manufacturing execution systems (MES)
* Experience with Agile project management tools and methodologies
* Background in quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100)
