General Summary of Position: The Community Research Specialist position is a full-time, one-year position with the possibility of renewal based on continued funding and job performance. Under the supervision of the PI, the Community Research Specialist will support a range of funded UML Center for Population Health (UML-CPH) community-engaged projects, with additional projects as funding evolves. The Community Research Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with community partners; coordinating project meetings; supporting community engagement activities; conducting study recruitment and data collection; assisting with data cleaning, management, and analysis; providing administrative and programmatic support; contributing to report writing and dissemination of findings; and performing other related duties as assigned. Grade P16 with range of minimum $59,674, 25th quartile of $67,879 and midpoint of $76,085. Anticipated salary not to exceed $65,000. This position is contingent upon funding and is anticipated for one-year, with possibility of renewal, contingent on funding.
