Position Summary

The Enterprise Digital and IT Lead is a high-impact leadership role accountable for defining and executing the global strategy for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) platforms across a complex, federated manufacturing organization. Working with Enterprise and Corporate IT Leaders and staff and interact with our business partners, to deliver efficient technology solutions while maintaining operational relationships with Parker suppliers and location contacts.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, driving the transformation from fragmented local solutions to scalable, standardized enterprise platforms. The role is responsible for enabling a connected digital thread across the manufacturing footprint, ensuring technology delivers measurable improvements in operational performance, compliance, and cost efficiency.

The position leads a team of direct and matrix resources, working across global business units, IT, and operational stakeholders to design, implement, and sustain enterprise solutions. It also ensures ongoing system reliability, continuous improvement, and alignment to Industry 4.0 and digital transformation objectives.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the global MES, EAM, and EHS implementations aligned to enterprise digital and operational objectives.
  • Establish a scalable enterprise architecture and digital thread framework across manufacturing operations
  • Drive standardization across divisions while enabling necessary local flexibility within a federated model
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise programs (MES, EAM, EHS) and define implementation playbooks, standards, and repeatable deployment models across global sites
  • Ensure solutions integrate with ERP, PLM, and shop-floor systems (SCADA, PLC, IoT)
  • Act as the primary bridge between manufacturing operations and enterprise IT leadership
  • Lead through influence across a matrix organization, aligning plant, division, and enterprise stakeholders
  • Facilitate decision-making at senior levels, translating technical complexity into business outcomes
  • Drive commercial governance with suppliers including licensing, contracts, and performance management
  • Ensure ongoing support, stability, and optimization of deployed systems
  • Apply continuous improvement techniques and methods to internal processes and systems to increase efficiency, drive customer service and reduce costs.
  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure business impact
  • Work with wider Digital and IT team to establish global standards for data integrity, cybersecurity, and system reliability across all manufacturing sites.
  • Lead implementation of enterprise initiatives & actively participate in High Performing Teams, project reviews, facilitate meetings with business partners, and provide updates to leadership on deliverables and work status.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years' experience in Digital/IT leadership delivering large-scale MES, EAM, or manufacturing system transformations
  • Proven experience in global, multi-site manufacturing environments and federated organizational models
  • Strong domain expertise in manufacturing operations and OT/IT convergence
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional and matrix teams across regions
  • Leads through influence in complex, global, matrixed organizations
  • Communicates effectively with executive and operational stakeholders
  • Defines and executes long-term digital manufacturing strategies aligned to Industry 4.0
  • Translates vision into actionable roadmaps and scalable solutions
  • Deep knowledge of MES, EAM, EHS, and shop-floor integration technologies
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operational challenges
  • Delivers large-scale transformation programs with measurable business outcomes
