Full-Time, Regular, 40 hours/week, Exempt Position Overview The Cybersecurity System Administrator is a critical, hands-on role dedicated to the day-to-day operational defense of Partners In Health's (PIH) global IT infrastructure. Serving as the organization's first line of defense, this individual is responsible for continuously monitoring our digital environment, triaging daily security alerts, and maintaining the health of our core defensive tools across both on-premises and cloud-based systems. The
Cybersecurity System Administrator
will work closely with the Information Security Director
and the broader IT department to execute our security strategy. This role focuses on critical execution: running routine vulnerability scans, managing identity and access controls, assisting with incident response, implementing priority cyber defenses, and serving as the primary escalation point for security-related helpdesk tickets. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented IT professional looking to deepen their hands-on expertise in cybersecurity operations. The expected starting salary range for new hires in this position is between $75,000-85,000/year and may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market for the position, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
