Position(s) I am Applying for
Financial Analyst
Provide financial analysis, planning and management reporting of key operational metrics. Play a key supporting role in the development and management of the annual firm budget and forecast. Responds to financial and statistical surveys. Assist in the maintenance and management of the firm's profitability model and software.

Essential Functions
Financial Planning/Reporting
* Build and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans
* Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting packages and leadership presentations
* Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and explain drivers and recommend solutions
Business Analysis
* Analyze KPIs, trends, and profitability to guide strategy
* Provide insights and recommendations to leadership
* Support scenario modeling / "what-if" analysis for decisions (pricing, hiring, investments)
Cross-Functional Partnership
* Work with practice leaders, department heads, and finance leadership
* Act as a business partner, translating financial data into operational insights
Systems & Reporting Infrastructure
* Build financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools
* Maintain data and reporting systems
Non-Essential Functions

* Complete other special duties as assigned

Minimum Qualification

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
* 2 to 5 years of experience in financial analyses and/or a related field

Success Factors

* Understanding of financial concepts, statements and analysis
* Good analytical skills
* Advanced knowledge of Excel is necessary
* Ability to pay attention to detail
* Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate in person, by e-mail and telephone and follow instruction effectively from a diverse group of attorneys, managers and staff and to provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact
* Maturity to handle highly confidential data
* Ability to organize and prioritize numerous assignments and complete them under time constraints
* Positive and willing to take initiative and follow through on projects and assignments
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Work Environment

* Position to be based in Washington DC with a requirement of 2-3 days in office
* Must be available to work beyond regular hours
* Must be able to work under tight deadlines and in stressful situations
* Non-smoking environment
* Must be able to comply with all safety requirements in our workplace
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $90,000-$100,000. The actual base salary offered will be dependent upon the applicant's experience and qualifications, as well as other job-related factors, including but not limited to, relevant skills, education, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, geographic location.
