Collections Representative

We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team in Elk Grove Village, IL. This is an opportunity for an individual who is customer-focused, organized, and skilled in managing accounts receivable and collection activities while maintaining positive customer relationships.

• Contact customers regarding past-due balances via phone, email, and written correspondence
• Review and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances
• Accept and process customer payments and update account information accurately
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
• Document collection activity and maintain accurate records in internal systems
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve account and service-related issues
• Provide professional, respectful, and solution-focused customer service at all times

• 1+ years of collections or accounts receivable experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
• Professional phone presence and problem-solving skill
