What the Ideal Candidate will do:
- Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, management reporting, and KPIs for executive leadership.
- Own annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.
- Oversee all cost accounting and inventory accounting functions, including standard costing, inventory valuation, reconciliations, and working capital metrics (inventory turnover, AR/AP, cash flow).
- Partner with operations and cross-functional leaders to analyze cost drivers, improve controls, and drive efficiency and profitability.
- Maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting and serve as primary liaison with external auditors, ensuring audit readiness and compliance.
- US Person.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis within a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Experience supporting month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Audit experience, including internal and external audits
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and deliver clear financial insights.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
- Strong communication and computer skills. Advance skills in Excel required. Experience with
ERP/MRP system is a plus, SAP preferred.
