Overview

Global Travel Collection (GTC), part of Internova Travel Group, is the most influential collection of international luxury travel agencies. Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the implementation of new and re-established GTC client accounts. This entails the successful deployment and management of all client facing solutions within the Global Travel Collection capabilities and products.

This role has accountability to work closely with Business Development, Product Integration and Travel Technology team members, corporate clients and GTC Travel Advisors in project management, implementation, training and delivery of travel solutions including online booking tools, profile solutions and report delivery. This position reports to the Director of Sales & Business Development and interacts with all Divisions of Global Travel Collection and should be knowledgeable in coordinating dependencies from various facets of a corporate travel management company. This individual must be capable of managing professional conversations with internal and external clients in supporting our technology solutions, customer service goals and client expectations.

    Maintains a high-level of productivity, managing competing priorities, and work under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex and collaborative team-oriented environment.

Implementation Project Management

  • Efficiently communicate and define Implementation Plan to all stakeholders. Include requirements, timelines and deliverables to all implementation project participants.
  • Initiate, manage and take ownership of strategic dialogues with potential and existing clients, as well as internal GTC resources
  • Administer and distribute updated project plans during the implementation process collecting client requirements, change management requests and issues.
  • Track and deliver weekly project timelines and issues lists to manage client expectations based on deliverables, requests and requirements.
  • Responsible for the development, coordination and delivery of documentation relating to the implementation of varied online and third-party systems including online booking tools (Concur, Deem, Emburse), profile management (Embark), reporting requirements (Power BI, Crossfire, Prime Analytics.)
  • Professionally and consultatively work with Product Integration, Travel Technology and Reporting Departments to drive technical conversations on implementation calls with the purpose of providing product education and creative recommendations to clients on all product capabilities, services and features. Knowledge of Compleat (GDSX), iSOS, Magnatech's Safe to Go, Conferma favored.
  • Participate in client and potential cleint calls with Advisor Success to consult on best practices, reset expectations where necessary and define product capabilities.
  • Work closely with Advisor Success Managers to promote effective communication of Implementation progress. Communicate all aspects of travel program and policy for ongoing support, post-implementation.
    • Additional Special Project Management may be required as necessary, such as integration of Third-Party tools such as Safe To Go, iSOS, Conferma, Power BI in concert with appropriate internal GTC stakeholders
    • Provide assistance for securing negotiated corporate rate hotel properties on behalf of corporate clients, including RFP process, acceptance and rate loading.

Implementation Configuration Fulfillment

  • Deliver consultation on and create solutions for travel policy configuration in all product compliance features.
  • Deliver consultation on preferred vendor consultation and configuration of all product vendor management features.
  • Consult and collaborate with operations and quality control/reporting to determine best practices in conjunction with client needs on user management, reporting, site configuration options and fulfillment.
  • Review user management requirements with client and coordinate implementation of required Reporting elements - both for GDS and delivery to client.
  • Consult with and submit requests to Travel Technology and Product Integration for Online Booking tool demonstrations, GDS setup, user registration, PNR and Profile administration and manage request fulfillment timelines within appropriate guidelines.
  • Consult with and submit requests to Telecom, IT and Travel Technology for development of client-specific email addresses, phone numbers and After-Hours service levels.
  • Customize, implement, and coordinate client, operational and support test plans prior to release. Collect and track changes in a defined change management platform and reset implementation timelines as applicable.
  • Participate in final client walk through for release. Address change management required in the implementation system and with Advisor & Client Success Managers and clients on any missed expectations.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 3-7+ years of experience in corporate travel, account management, or project implementation
  • Strong knowledge of travel booking systems (e.g., GDS, online booking tools like Concur, Emburse, Deem, etc.)
  • Proven project management experience with the ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Knowledge of GTC company vetted third party tools such as Safe to Go, Power BI, Conferma
