Switchboard Operator / Receptionist (Weekends) - Per-diem
HRI Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Switchboard Operator. We are looking for an individual who has availability for days (7am - 3:30pm) and/or evening (3pm - 11:30pm) shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. There are hourly shift differentials for both evening and weekend shifts.

HRI Hospitalis 66-bed psychiatric facility with adult inpatient services and several partial hospitalization programs. As a Switchboard Operator, you will:

  • Operate the hospital switchboard in a professional, courteous, and effective manner
  • Respond to and activate hospital emergency codes and pages in a responsible and timely manner
  • Welcome visitors to the hospital in a warm, professional and helpful manner
  • Protect confidentiality of hospitalized patients
  • Facilitate internal hospital communications in a professional and efficient manner
  • Consistently, accurately, and neatly perform related clerical duties and other tasks assigned by supervisor including typing and copying
  • Maintain both personal and work area in an appropriate professional and neat manner
  • Reflect professional reliability and dependability through compliance of hospital attendance policy

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • MS4 experience preferred
  • Experience: Experience operating switchboard, computer, and other business equipment
  • Skills: Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Strong ability to multi-task.
