YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Yoga Instructor- PRN

Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient treatment services to adolescents and adults at our 86-bed facility in Panama City, FL and outpatient services to adolescents and adults at our outpatient centers located throughout the Florida Panhandle. Additionally, we offer specialized treatment for active duty military members through our Military Resiliency Program, specialized chemical dependency treatment and TMS therapy for chronic depression.

The Yoga Instructor leads group yoga classes for assigned patient groups in an inpatient setting. They design curriculum and lead groups through various levels and types of yoga practice to enhance the spiritual wellness of assigned patient groups.

Essential Job Duties:

• Design curriculum and lead groups through various levels and types of yoga practice to enhance the spiritual wellness of assigned patient groups.
• Provides demonstration of techniques, verbal cues and hands-on direction to assist patients with proper poses, alternative poses, the most beneficial breathing patterns, and tips for achieving spiritual wellness.

Job Requirements:

• 200 Hours Yoga Teacher Training from a Registered Yoga School through Yoga Alliance.
• Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance.
• One (1) year yoga teaching experience required. Experience working in healthcare setting preferred.
• Completion of hospital orientation requirements. Maintains compliance with all Hospital policies and requirements.
• Ability to work as an Independent Contractor
• Ability to provide Yoga Classes on Monday, Thursday and Saturday from 6:30am to 7:20am.
