JOB TITLE: Commercial Technical Specialist PAY RANGE: $35 \| SHIFT:1st 8am - 5pm \| TYPE: Onsite SEE WHAT WE DO: https://youtu.be/kvuAbB4969E?si=MCg_01gD0C0BCG6- QUICK SUMMARY This is a technical sales support role focused on converting customer requirements into executable manufacturing solutions. You'll own the quoting process, collaborate cross-functionally, and play a key role in winning new business. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (bulleted form) Own RFQ intake, technical review, and quote development Interpret prints, CAD models, and specifications Build pricing models aligned to margin and delivery targets Collaborate with production, engineering, and vendors Present quotes and follow up to drive order conversion Manage customer timelines and expectations Identify upsell and cross-capability opportunities REQUIREMENTS: (Preferred too) Degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, Design, or related field and/or equivalent work experience required 3-5 years in estimating, inside sales, or technical customer support Strong blueprint reading and manufacturing knowledge CRM experience (Salesforce preferred) Ability to balance speed, accuracy, and customer experience CNC machining, sheet metal, or manufacturing services (preferred) Experience working with RFQs and fast turnaround quoting (preferred) WHAT PROTOTEK OFFERS: Health, dental, vision, life and short-term disability insurance Company paid life and long-term disability insurance 9 paid Holidays annually Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 401(k) match: 100% of 3% and 50% for 4% and 5% Education reimbursement program Career advancement opportunities Flexible Schedule Competitive pay scale Paid time off (PTO) starting at 80 hours with annual increase for each year of service WORK AUTHORIZATION WORDING Must meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements - Prototek maintains International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliant operations in United States based facilities.
