Wentworth Health Partners, an affiliate of Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and member of Mass General Brigham Medical Group, offers comprehensive, personalized care for all stages of a woman's life in an atmosphere of privacy and trust in our Dover and Portsmouth locations. Our team of expert providers and specialists at OB/GYN and Infertility in Dover take a thoughtful approach to provide high-quality compassionate care in the areas of Obstetrics, Gynecology, Urogynecology, Infertility and LGBTQ+ care. In the Center for Women's Health and Wellness located in the state-of-the-art building on the Pease campus in Portsmouth, this dynamic team brings together expert OB/GYN physicians and midwives, along with nurse navigators to help women manage all aspects of their care.
We are seeking a Per Diem Triage RN to support our Women's Health teams! The operating hours of each of the practices are from 7:00am-5:00pm, so schedules are staggered accordingly (8-hour shifts) based on practice needs and availability. In this role, you'll help fill staffing gaps caused by call-outs, vacations, leaves, and vacancies.
This RN role will support multiple OB/GYN and Women's Health locations and will float between the following practices:
* Wentworth Health Partners OB/GYN & Infertility - 15 Old Rollinsford Road, Dover, NH 03820
* Garrison Women's Health - 770 Central Avenue, Dover, NH 03820
* Wentworth Health Partners Dover Women's Health - 700 Central Avenue, Dover, NH 03820
* Center for Women's Health and Wellness - 67 Corporate Drive, Portsmouth, NH 03801
Responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.

Essential Functions:
-Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
-Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
-Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
-Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
-Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
-Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Education
Associate's Degree Nursing required

Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
No

Licenses and Credentials
Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - required

Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - preferred

Experience
Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required and Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare technologies.

Strongly preferred:

  • EPIC Experience

  • OBGYN / Women's Health Experience

  • Phone Triage Experience

  • 2-3 years of Nursing Experience
