  • Hillcrest Hospital South, a full-service 180-bed facility located in south Tulsa, offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services utilizing cutting-edge technology in a welcoming community environment. As the only DNV Orthopedic Center of Excellence (OCE) in Oklahoma, Hillcrest South stands out for its exceptional orthopedic care. The hospital's RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program and Pathway to Excellence, ensuring high-quality training for nurses.
  • The Ultrasound Technologist supports patient care by performing quality ultrasound procedures.
  • Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the scan.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to provide images and data for medical treatment and diagnosis.
  • Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment.
  • Evaluate ultrasound images for technical quality, and exposure, and transmit to PACS.
  • Assist Radiologists and other health care practitioners during interventional ultrasound procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
    • If registry eligible upon hire, the technologist must become registered within one year of hire.
  • Must maintain registry during employment.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • One year or more of Ultrasound Tech experience.
