The HR Manager plays a crucial role in the organization by overseeing various HR functions, implementing policies and procedures, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Develops and implements HR strategies aligned with company mission and objectives.
  • Collaborates with in-house recruiters and manages external staffing firms to ensure efficient recruitment processes.
  • Ensures compliance with labor laws, maintains accurate employee records, and handles HR-related legal matters.
  • Develops, updates, and communicates HR policies and procedures; ensures consistent enforcement.
  • Promotes diversity and inclusion initiatives across the workplace.
  • Manages employee relations, resolves conflicts, and fosters a positive work culture.
  • Leads contract negotiations, oversees contract administration, and manages union grievance processes (if applicable).
  • Interprets and manages HR policies, including attendance and leave.
  • Supports goal setting, performance feedback, and employee development planning.
  • Identifies training needs and organizes development programs and workshops.
  • Assists with benefits administration and compensation-related inquiries.
  • Responds to benefits questions and helps resolve issues with third-party administrators.
  • Maintains accurate data entry for status, compensation, and position changes in the HRIS system.


WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who builds trust at all levels, handles sensitive matters with discretion, and effectively balances multiple priorities. They are adaptable, organized, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team, with a focus on problem-solving and supporting a positive workplace culture.

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE



  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or a related field, preferred.
  • Five (5) years of previous HR experience, manufacturing environment, required.
  • HR certification preferred.
  • Previous union experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficient in HR software and tools.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.


WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS



  • Minimal risk of exposure to unusual elements.
  • Minimal risk of safety precautions.
  • General office environment with the ability to walk the plant, yard, or construction jobsite.
