Job Summary


The Mechanical Assembler I is responsible for performing a variety of electro-mechanical assembly tasks on assemblies and sub-assemblies. This role involves following detailed instructions to complete wiring, component installation, circuit board assembly, soldering, and cable harnessing. The position requires the ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation while ensuring all work meets quality and specification standards.

Job Responsibilities



  • Perform electro-mechanical assembly of components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies
  • Follow detailed instructions, schematics, drawings, and parts lists to complete assembly tasks
  • Install wiring, components, circuit boards, and cable harnesses
  • Perform hand soldering and basic electrical connections
  • Use hand and power tools to complete mechanical and structural assemblies
  • Make basic setups and adjustments while maintaining required tolerances
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members


Job Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Less than 1 year of related assembly or manufacturing experience
  • Ability to read and interpret basic schematics, drawings, and assembly instructions
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
  • Basic soldering skills preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
  • Good communication and teamwork skills


Work Experience



  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments preferred
  • Exposure to electro-mechanical assembly processes is a plus
