Operations Advisor

The Advisor, Operations is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing clinical operations, driving efficiency in patient flow, and serving as a key liaison across the Delivery Network (DN). This role ensures operational excellence, supports executive leadership, and leads high-level projects to enhance organizational performance.

• 1. Clinical Operations & Strategic Planning
• 1.1 Manage and optimize clinical workflows to ensure quality care and operational efficiency.
• 2. Liaison for the Delivery Network
• 2.1 Serve as the primary contact for internal stakeholders, promoting collaboration and alignment to support the development and execution of strategic operational plans.
• 3. Length of Stay (LOS) Management
• 3.1 Monitor and implement strategies to reduce LOS and improve throughput across departments.
• 4. Project Leadership
• 4.1 Serve as project lead for high-level initiatives, ensuring timely execution and alignment with organizational goals.
• 5. Executive Resource
• 5.1 Act as a trusted resource for the GH executive team, offering operational insights and solutions.

• 6.1 Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Bachelors degree in business or healthcare administration or health related field required. Masters degree preferred in healthcare administration or related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE

At least five years of progressive experience in a healthcare environment. Must have operational experience with evidence of managing complex problems and projects. Significant business or operational experience gained in a complex healthcare setting, preferably an integrated health system.

SPECIAL SKILLS

Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and judgement. As well as the ability to work alongside clinical partners in operations, site management, expansions. Evidence of successful project management skills, including taking a lead position of a project. Strong knowledge of clinical workflows, throughput strategies, and emergency department operations. Proven ability to lead complex projects and collaborate with executive leadership. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
