As a Security Officer Bicycle Patrol in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a dynamic municipal location. In this role, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout public-facing buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to manage pedestrian and/or vehicle traffic while maintaining awareness of unusual activity and communicating with local contacts when needed.
• Support a welcoming environment at the location by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and escalating security-related issues or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
