Required Qualifications
This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations. * Current licensure as a Registered Nurse as defined by the California Board of Registered Nursing. *Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) * Active American Heart Association CPR CertificationKnowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.Recent experience in the use of electronic medical record documentationMinimum of one year full-time RN experience in pediatric inpatient settingMinimum one-year pediatric clinical experience providing nursing care for patients with diseases of the digestive system or related conditions(s) in an inpatient and/or outpatient settingRecent experience in pediatric outpatient care coordinationExperience with maintenance of G tubes, central lines and drawing labs required. Experience with insertion and maintenance of NG tubes requiredPhlebotomy experience required


Preferred Qualifications
Experience and fluency in working with computersKnowledge of UCSF and APEX

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license as defined by the California Board of Registered Nursing
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • Active American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification
  • Demonstrated knowledge and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of the position
  • Recent experience with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
  • Minimum of one (1) year of full-time RN experience in a pediatric inpatient setting
  • Minimum of one (1) year of pediatric clinical experience caring for patients with digestive system conditions in an inpatient and/or outpatient setting
  • Recent experience in pediatric outpatient care coordination
  • Experience with maintenance of G-tubes, central lines, and blood draws
  • Experience with insertion and maintenance of nasogastric (NG) tubes
  • Phlebotomy experience

Licensure and Certifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience and proficiency working with computers
  • Knowledge of UCSF systems and APeX (Epic EMR)
