Take a look at this opportunity with our Manufacturing team, which is seeking a passionate individual, to fill the role of Manufacturing Manager. This role is responsible for managing all aspects (Safety, Quality, Productivity, Service, Talent Management, and Morale) of warehouse shipping and receiving, freezer milk storage management, raw milk receiving and sampling, and fortifier or whole milk manufacturing process. Specific department focus will be divided during team expansion to have primary and secondary focus department(s) with other manufacturing managers.

How you will contribute

  • Ensure that all Safety, Quality and regulatory requirements are met in the responsible areas.
  • Develops the manufacturing plan and establishes procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products conform to established customer and company quality standards. Helps define and regularly reports on manufacturing metrics.
  • Assists Plant Manager in the development and formulation of long and short-range planning, policies, programs and objectives.
  • Develop leadership skills among the team leaders/lead technicians to execute daily operation plans.
  • Hires, trains, develops and evaluates staff. Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy. Ensures compliance with current federal, state and local regulations. Consults with Human Resources Department as appropriate.
  • Work across departments which include but not limit to supply chain, milk bank operation, QA, QC, accounting, and engineering.
  • Coordinate with master schedule planner to fulfill the need of all production based on the production schedule and demand. Maintain understanding of current market demand and takt time.
  • Identifies, recommends and implements changes to expand capacity, improve productivity and improve yield, monitor discrepancies and rework data.
  • Assist in department budget planning and approval of daily spending.
  • Manage continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma methodology.



What you bring to the role



  • A minimum of bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
  • 8 years of health care operation management experience, and familiar with varieties of GMP standards, 3 years in manager role


  • Warehouse supervision experience preferred


  • Able to manage manual work cell operation and semi-automatic production line


  • Able to create and manager budget
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Effectively interview and select candidates
  • Handle conflict management and bring resolution
  • Effective relationship building skills
  • Ability to produce and present clear, concise and professionally written communications and presentations
  • Performance Management, effective coaching and directing of others
