A strong focus on customer and distributor experience is key for this role, as you will be responsible for managing Annuity applications from submit through issue. This position requires independent problem solving and research skills, urgency in resolving requirements to issue business and coordinating communication surrounding the case activity. A Case Manager must take ownership of individual and team caseloads and service standards through completion of the application process while providing details and consistent communication to the advisor and Retirement sales team partners.

Responsibilities:
* Performing initial and ongoing review of each application submitted through the new business process.
* Applications to be processed may include fixed, indexed, structured, variable & immediate annuities.
* Proficient processing on multiple administrative systems and understanding of forms and procedures.
* Managing distributor relationships by providing timely responses to inquiries, concerns, & requests via email and phone.
* Supporting team initiatives & providing back up support for team members during peak influx times and periods of PTO. This position also works very closely with sales, relationship management, and customers on urgent cases to ensure completion within allotted time standards.
* Must adhere to the required and stated compliance standards.
* Drive for continuous improvement: desire to get engaged with projects and initiatives to identify opportunities and drive our business forward.
Qualifications:
* 1+ years of annuity/retirement/finance experience or Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
* Minimum of six months experience in a production work environment, accustomed to monitoring and meeting production goals.
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication, customer service, problem solving skills, and able to work well within a team.
* Must have the ability to meet the needs of a diverse customer group and handle challenging conversations
Protective's targeted salary range for this position is $47,000 to $60,000. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protective's total compensation package for employees.
