The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking applications for an HR Professional within the School of Medicine Office of the Dean. This full-time, open-rank position will serve as a resource to Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs) throughout the School of Medicine. The HR Professional reviews and approves entries in the PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) system, reviews and approves letters of offer and additional pay, provides consultation and training to HRBPs, and updates and maintains a variety of databases and other systems. The ideal candidate for this position will be a customer-service-driven individual who is ready to help create change and be part of a team of professionals dedicated to collaborative approaches, relationship building, and positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
Review and approve a variety of entries and transactions in HCM. Create and run a variety of reports. Review and approve letters of offer. Communicate and provide status updates to a variety of stakeholders. Create transactions in HCM as necessary. Review, process, and approve incentive and on-call payments. Provide consultation, training, and guidance to HRBPs, school leaders, and employees. Maintain accurate, timely, and complete records ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and University laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Assist in the development of standard operating procedures and process improvement initiatives. Assist with special projects and HR-related initiatives. Serve as a resource on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of three (3) days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings. |

Qualifications: |
Minimum Qualifications: Entry Level:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or another related field.
Intermediate Level:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or another related field. One (1) year of experience performing professional-level human resource duties and responsibilities.
Senior Level:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or another related field. Two (2) years of experience performing professional-level human resource duties and responsibilities. Substitution (All Levels): A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional/professional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship. We are unable to provide work visa sponsorship or employment authorization for this position now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications (All Levels):
Experience utilizing PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) system. Experience working in an academic medical center. Experience with Smartsheet.

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality while working with sensitive information. Ability to actively listen and share relevant information, anticipate problems, and provide solutions. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks with independent judgment based upon a complex set of competing time and resource requirements and to handle changing workloads and demands as necessary. Must determine the most efficient sequence of duties on any given day. Ability to learn new skills, synthesize and apply knowledge from diverse disciplines. Knowledge of professional standards, concepts, and practices related to human resources. Ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate a broad range of laws, rules, and regulations to exercise good judgment in applying them to human resources challenges. Knowledge of applicable Federal and State laws and regulations.

Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as:
Entry Level: $48,512 to $65,006 Intermediate Level: $52,793 to $70,742 Senior Level: $57,073 to $76,478
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
