Summary Provides outstanding service and timely response to work requests. Promotes positive business results ensuring facilities are well maintained and safe. Performs duties in a manner that supports credit union goals and vision. Delivers technical expertise in all aspects of electrical systems including code compliance, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, supply chains, project management and oversight. Expected Outcomes
- Maintenance requests and preventative maintenance checks are completed in a timely manner
- Effective collaboration with Facilities staff, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders results in the timely completion of electrical projects
- Successful performance and oversight of electrical work support construction, remodeling, equipment replacement and retrofits
- Proactive planning and execution of projects reduces energy usage and operating costs in alignment with Summit Credit Union's sustainability goals
- Demonstrated expertise and knowledge-sharing strengthens collaboration and elevates the capabilities of the Facilities team.
- Compliance with applicable safety standards and codes reduces organizational risk
Capability Requirements
- Licensing requirement of Journeyman Electrician
- Three years or more experience in electrical systems maintenance in commercial settings
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations
- Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents
- Competency in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving electrical issues independently
- Strong organizational and communication skills for documenting work and coordinating with teams
- Familiarity with modern building automation systems and facility management software
- Valid driver's license required
Additional Details
- Physical Demands of Position: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit, stand and walk, use hands and fingers. The employee occasionally must reach above and below shoulder level, and lift/push/pull and /or carry up to 100 pounds.
- Environmental/Working Conditions: Works in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting. Travel to branches requires exposure to outdoor and traffic conditions. Works inside and outside with possible exposure to environmental elements, such as inclement weather, dust, noise, chemical and/or chemical fumes. Duties require occasional on-call and/or off hours work and local travel.
- Equipment Used: Variety of office equipment (telephone, printer, pc, mobile devices, etc.), cleaning cart, cleaning supplies, vacuum, carpet cleaner, snow shovel, snow blower, hand and lawn tools, power tools, hand dolly, step and extension ladder.
