Dominium is currently seeking a full-time Financial Reporting Senior Accountant for a hybrid role based out of our Minneapolis Regional Office.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Financial Reporting Accountant supports core corporate accounting functions for Dominium's management company, including preparing journal entries, corporate allocations, account reconciliations, and consolidated enterprise financial statements; and assisting with budgeting and monthly close activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  1. Executes month end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and preparation of monthly financial statements.
  2. Ensures that all cash transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
  3. Administers corporate credit cards, and review expenses for accurate coding, proper documentation, and compliance with company policies.
  4. Prepares and issues monthly management fee billings, ensuring accurate calculation and timely submission in accordance with management agreements.
  5. Calculates and records corporate cost allocations to ensure accurate distribution across entities.
  6. Analyzes monthly financial results and provide variance explanations and prepares ad hoc reporting.
  7. Prepares consolidated enterprise level financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with organizational reporting requirements.
  8. Collaborates with stakeholders across the organization to align financial insights with organizational goals.
  9. Records and reconcile payroll activity, ensuring accurate posting of wages, taxes, and benefits.
  10. Supports junior accounting staff and contributes to continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures.












                    QUALIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Training and Experience.)



                    • Associates degree in Accounting or higher and 2-5 years of relevant experience


                    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel,


                    • Experience with accounting software required; Yardi experience preferred.


                    • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities.

                    • Work environment is an indoor office environment with 75% sitting, 15% standing and 10% walking.

                    Pay: $80,000 - $95,000 salary DOE + 5% bonus potential
