Genesis10 is currently seeking a Cloud SRE - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role will help build a fully automated, repeatable, and scalable internal cloud platform. The ideal candidate will be central to creating a best-in-class, software-defined development environment that can be consistently replicated across the organization, with a strong background in codifying infrastructure, configuration, and operational workflows. Responsibilities: Build a fully automated, repeatable, and scalable internal cloud platform Create a best-in-class, software-defined development environment Integrate Infrastructure-as-Code into CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows Collaborate across engineering, operations, and development teams in an Agile environment Requirements: 7+ years of hands-on experience with large-scale VMware environments, including VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.x, vSphere, NSX-T, and Aria Suite (vRealize) 5+ years of software development experience with some exposure to network programming and networking protocols Strong proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, YAML-based declarative models) Deep understanding of cloud platform operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting Solid understanding of network concepts, load balancers, routing, subnets, and firewalls Experience with Version Control (Git/Bitbucket) Hands on Cohesity, Netbackup, or Avamar product experience Experience with Python Hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week Desired skills: Understanding of ITIL processes is a plus Pay range: $79.74 - $87.74 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
