The UKG System Administrator will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's UKG Pro Workforce Management timekeeping and workforce management systems. This role ensures accurate time collection, system reliability, regulatory compliance, and alignment of system functionality with business objectives. The Administrator plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between IT and business objectives. This position involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, documenting processes, and identifying areas for improvement. The Administrator will utilize various tools and methodologies to conduct data analysis, create reports, and present findings to stakeholders. The Administrator partners closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and Operations to troubleshoot issues, configure system components, and support ongoing improvements. This role also manages integrations, system updates, data analysis, and reporting. Additionally, they will work closely with project managers to ensure that project deliverables align with business needs and contribute to the overall strategic goals of Concentra's IT organization.
Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth analysis of technical systems, processes, and data to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and enhancement.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can inform decisionmaking and help with problem-solving.
- Provide technical support, resolving system errors, user issues, and data discrepancies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding timekeeping, system access, and scheduling workflows.
- Work cross-functionally with IT and vendor support to resolve complex system issues and optimize performance
- Develop, maintain, and enhance UKG Pro Workforce Management reports, dashboards, and analytics.
- Analyze timekeeping data for compliance, overtime, scheduling trends, and labor cost insights.
- Identify system and process improvement opportunities using data-driven methodologies.
- Create and maintain system documentation, including workflows, process maps, technical configurations, and training materials.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather business and technical requirements for enhancements or new functionality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, process flows, and user guides.
- Maintain and configure the UKG Pro Workforce Management timekeeping system to meet the organization's needs, including setting up user access, permissions, and system parameters.
- Manage pay rules, accruals, shift patterns, and schedules to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support integrations between UKG Pro Workforce Management and HRIS, Payroll, and Finance systems.
- Develop and maintain custom reports using UKG Pro Workforce Management reporting tools.
- Analyze timekeeping data for compliance, overtime trends, and labor cost insights.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and testing.
Qualifications
- Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Major: Information Technology, Business, Computer Science or HR Systems
- Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
- 5+ years of software development or technical analysis experience.
- Boomi certified
- Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to the overall technology roadmap
- Experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management timekeeping systems.
- Strong understanding of pay policies, workforce scheduling, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and work cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, and IT.
