About the Role

As a QC Analyst, you will support manufacturing and production by executing quality control testing and ensuring ongoing compliance with established quality systems and cGMP standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining testing readiness, supporting analytical activities, and contributing to continuous improvement within the Quality Control laboratory environment.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute routine and non-routine bioanalytical testing for cGMP release and characterization using techniques including CE-SDS, SDS-PAGE, and CZE, and assist with data review.
  • Perform method verifications and method transfers to support project and testing needs.
  • Support assay readiness through vendor enrollment, reagent ordering, and consumable management.
  • Initiate and maintain required documentation including LIMS entries, SOPs, assay forms, and method transfer records.
  • Support laboratory operations including safety, housekeeping, logbook usage, equipment operation and maintenance, and updates to procedures.
  • Deliver assigned work with accuracy, attention to detail, and schedule adherence.
  • Notify management and initiate quality events (e.g., laboratory investigations) with guidance from senior analysts or management.
  • Participate in analytical and instrument troubleshooting activities and special projects as assigned.
Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline such as Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field required.
  • Ability to learn and apply professional concepts, company policies, and procedures to resolve routine issues.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-based laboratory environment.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work within established procedures in a regulated setting.

The salary for this position is expected to range between $32.11 and $59.61 per hour. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.

Salary Range

$66,800.00 - $124,000.00
