Weekend Shift/Full-Time: Friday through Sunday - 5:00am to 5:30 pm, get paid for 40.0 hours
With experience, make up to $29.37 per hour plus $2.00 shift differential for working on the weekend shift.
Summary
Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to perform standard operations to meet close tolerance and finish requirements.
Essential duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Operations to include drilling, tapping, boring, milling and turning, using fixtures, vices and chucks.
- Maintain tooling.
- Work from instructions defining tooling applications, coding, fixtures, and machine arrangements and console settings.
- Mount and secure tooling in tool carousel or spindle; align and secure fixtures and work piece; and check to establish reference points.
- Set stops and machine travel.
- Load programs from network.
- Work from part drawings and specifications.
- Prove out new programs and document new set ups.
- Use a variety of precision measuring instruments.
- May Pre-Set tooling for CNC Machining centers.
- Completed projects subject to final inspection.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Two-year technical college degree in machine tool; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Work experience or training which demonstrates a knowledge of machine shop practices and techniques, machine operations and tooling.
- Work experience or training which demonstrates a knowledge of numerically controlled machine tools or CNC machining equipment and operations.
