Loss Mitigation & Delinquency Management: Process and review lossmitigation requests (mods, forbearance, repayment, deferrals), analyze borrower/loan data, ensure investor compliance, manage escalations, and understand the full delinquency lifecycle from earlystage through postconveyance. Customer Service & Inquiry Resolution: Handle investor/servicer inquiries through ServiceNow and Teams, resolve issues in one call when possible, document resolutions thoroughly, and manage escalations while maintaining strong communication and service standards. Insurance Cancellation & Operational Processing: Review and process mortgage insurance cancellation requests in eMAQCS Plus, maintain detailed records, complete weekly investor reports, update Access databases, and prioritize workload effectively. Reporting, Data Analysis & Quality Control: Produce monthly/adhoc reports, analyze large data sets to identify patterns, ensure data accuracy, support internal teams, perform QC on lossmitigation files, and contribute to training on underwriting best practices. Technical Skills, Professionalism & Independence: Leverage strong Microsoft Office/Access expertise, understand mortgage/servicing systems and investor requirements, communicate clearly, manage time and ambiguity well, work with minimal supervision, and maintain high integrity and attention to detail. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
