Consumers Energy is Michigan's largest energy provider, providing natural gas and/or electricity to 6.8 million of the state's 10 million residents in all 68 Lower Peninsula counties. The Principal Data Analystis responsible forleading the development, enhancement, and maintenance of data analysis, reporting, and requirements gathering. This roleleveragesdeepexpertisein specific data domains and organizational knowledge to ensure alignment with business strategy. The Principal Data Analyst serves as a mentor to other team members and provides advanced technicalexpertiseto ensure data quality and accuracy. This position designs, processes, and presents data in ways that support informed decision-making across the organization. Additionally, the role supports the delivery ofaccurate,timelyreporting that drives business strategies. The Principal Data Analyst partners with stakeholders across the enterprise and provides peer leadership and productexpertiseto the analytics team.
