Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Capacity Management Analyst for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This role focuses on the capacity management of mid-range systems and infrastructure for a major enterprise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing data analytics, developing capacity forecast models, and offering executive summaries to partners and stakeholders, while adhering to ITIL and COBIT frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage capacity for mid-range systems and infrastructure
- Communicate and provide capacity executive summaries to partners and stakeholders
- Provide data analytics and create capacity forecast models
- Understand hardware infrastructure, architecture, and disaster recovery
- Serve as an advisor for system and application performance improvements
- Utilize IT Service Management (ITSM) principles
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT Capacity Management
- Demonstrated knowledge of capacity planning methodologies
- Demonstrated knowledge of mathematical/statistical and quantitative analytics
- Demonstrated knowledge of ITIL capacity management best practices & COBIT framework
- Experience with Python
- Experience with Tableau
- Experience with JavaScript
Desired skills:
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, Splunk data mining, and demand data/BVI concepts
- Experience with Infrastructure architecture and ITSM
- Experience with tools such as AppDynamics/DynaTrace, Splunk, SAR/PerfMon, and True Sight Capacity Optimizer
- Familiarity with Agile Framework tools like Jira/Confluence
Pay range: $78.04 - $82 per hour
