Senior Product Manager, AI

Vivint
United States, Utah, Lehi
Feb 18, 2026

As an NRG employee, we encourage you to take charge of your career and development journey. We invite you to explore exciting opportunities across our businesses. You'll find that our dynamic work environment provides variety and challenge. Your growth is key to our ongoing success-take the lead in shaping your career development, goals and future!

The Role

Vivint is building the next generation of intelligent smart home experiences powered by AI, computer vision, and connected devices. The AI team is a horizontal team. We partner with vertical product teams such as Camera Vertical, Energy Vertical, Panel and Sensor Vertical and Mobile Apps to deliver AI capabilities that improve customer outcomes

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager 2 with a focus on personalization opportunities. You will work with vertical teams to identify high leverage opportunities, translate them into clear requirements, and drive delivery of scalable personalization capabilities that teams can ship with confidence.

This role is ideal for a strong product leader who builds customer empathy, collaborates across organizations, and mentors other PMs. AI expertise is helpful, but product expertise and cross-functional leadership are the core.

What You'll Do

  • Lead personalization across Camera, Energy, Panel & Sensor, and Mobile App experiences, drive alignment with PMs and crossfunctional teams on where AI can add the most value, and then partner to cocreate solutions that solve the highestimpact customer problems.
  • Co-create product requirements, customer workflows, and measurable business outcomes for AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Drive alignment across product, engineering, data science, design, and hardware to deliver AI capabilities that are usable, reliable, and trusted.
  • Define success metrics for personalization and establish iteration loops, including quality, latency, relevance, engagement, and trust. Help teams make pragmatic tradeoffs.
  • Lead personalization strategy in partnership with vertical teams, defining how we tailor alerts, automations, and in-app experiences to the household, context, and customer preferences.
  • Drive cross-functional delivery of AI features in partnership with vertical teams, from concept through launch and iteration, without owning the full product surface end to end.
  • Partner with privacy, security, and legal teams to ensure AI capabilities meet trust and compliance standards.
  • Serve as a mentor to other product managers by raising the bar on clarity, customer empathy, business outcomes and execution.

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of product management experience shipping customer-facing products, or 6+ years experience driving consumer personalization.
  • Strong customer empathy and ability to turn ambiguity into clear product direction.
  • Proven ability to partner across teams and stakeholders, driving alignment without direct end to end ownership.
  • Excellent communication and product judgment with strong writing, crisp decision-making, and clear prioritization.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort defining metrics, measuring outcomes, and iterating.
  • Comfort operating in technically complex domains. AI or ML exposure is a plus, not required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience collaborating with data science or ML teams, or working on data-driven product features.
  • Familiarity with smart home, IoT, or connected devices.
  • Exposure to computer vision, automation, or relevance and quality problems.
  • Experience in privacy or security sensitive environments.
