System Integration Engineer

Location: Melbourne, Florida

REDLattice is seeking a highly skilled System Intergation Engineer to support the design, development, and integration of advanced cyber systems and products. This role requires a strong technical foundation in low-level subsystems, large- to medium-scale codebases, and multi-component product integration. The ideal candidate is hands-on, comfortable working across software and hardware environments, and thrives in technically complex, mission-focused settings.

Responsibilities:



  • Design, develop, and support low-level system architectures and subsystems
  • Integrate multiple components into cohesive, scalable products
  • Contribute to large- to medium-scale system design and codebase development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams including software, hardware, and embedded specialists
  • Support product lifecycle activities from concept through deployment
  • Participate in technical design reviews and provide engineering recommendations
  • Ensure system performance, reliability, and security requirements are met
  • Utilize modern development tools and version control systems to support engineering workflows


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience with C/C++ and Python
  • Proficiency with Git and modern development practices
  • Experience working within large- to medium-scale codebases and complex, multi-component systems
  • Ability to work effectively in both software and hardware-integrated environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced technical setting
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience within cyber, defense, or other mission-critical environments
  • Familiarity with reverse engineering (RE) or vulnerability research (VR) concepts
  • Hands-on experience working with hardware or embedded systems
  • Exposure to PCB design and hardware integration
  • Ability and working knowledge of soldering is preferred
  • Understanding of secure system design principles
