PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The duties and responsibilities regularly performed for this position are:



  • Maintain and promote "One Chromalloy" Core Values
  • Maintain and promotes 5S standards in the work area
  • Adhere to and promote Company health, safety and environmental policies while performing job duties
  • Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards
  • Install electrical power to machines.
  • Repair electrical motors.
  • Analyze and determine cause of electrical problems.
  • Change ballasts and light bulbs.
  • Ensures compliance with Company Repair Station Manuel (RSM)/Quality Control Management (QCM). Must be aware of ISO/Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) quality requirements.
  • Assist in all electrical facility upgrades
  • Regular and reliable attendance.


The marginal duties and responsibilities (performed occasionally or at irregular intervals) for this position are:



  • Mechanical work
  • Carpentry work
  • Plumbing work


EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:



  • High School Diploma or GED preferred


The specific LICENSES and/or CERTIFICATIONS required for this position are:



  • Passing grade on Chromalloy Electrical/Maintenance Test
  • Must have a current ICC Nevada journeyman electrician license
  • OSHA 10/30 hour certificate a plus


The specific SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE required for this position are:



  • Able to read and write in English
  • Proficient in NEC and electrical standards
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Capable of metal layout and fabrication
  • Must be proficient with all hand and power tools
  • Able to operate forklift, scissor lifts and boom lifts
  • Ability to perform all work to established Company and customer specifications
  • Able to bend pipe, install plastic and metal conduit and install breakers/disconnects
