Job Description




As a Security Officer - Corporate Front Desk in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors, managing access control and badge activity, and monitoring the lobby with a professional presence. You will document incidents, communicate clearly with site teams, and support a welcoming environment while helping to reduce security-related issues. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Control access to the location by greeting and directing visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining visitor logs.
  • Monitor lobby activity, CCTV, alarms, and/or access control systems and report unusual activity per post orders to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or emergency services as required.
  • Complete required reports and shift documentation, including incident reports, access records, and pass-down notes, using approved systems and communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet, which is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
