Key Responsibilities

Client Support & Communication



  • Serve as the first point of contact for both prospective and existing credit union members, as well as external business partners, addressing inquiries, appointment scheduling, and follow-up communications.
  • Prepare and distribute client meeting materials, follow-up communications, and documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all member interactions.
  • Resolve member account discrepancies by performing file maintenance and making necessary account changes. Assists with the escalation of complex transactions when required.
  • Informs members about credit union technology services and offerings. Assists members with troubleshooting technology-related transactions and issues.
  • Maintains the credit union's professional reputation by adhering to professional standards of conduct and following credit union guidelines and policies


Advisor Support



  • Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and track deadlines for Financial Advisors.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients, including gathering required documentation and setting up profiles.
  • Complete mutual fund trade tickets, place trades, and monitor for settlement.
  • Process paperwork for annuities and life products.
  • Review all submitted paperwork for accuracy and completeness before submission. Follow up with the Advisor, client, or home office to obtain necessary documentation.
  • Set up brokerage accounts and monitor trade activity for accuracy.
  • Assist in marketing mailings, branch promotions, and seminars.
  • Run illustrations, assist in fund performance research, and prepare client presentations for Advisor.
  • Present and train staff at branch meetings.
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge of credit union products and services in order to effectively cross sell to members when appropriate. Uphold the ability to establish and modify certificates, IRAs, HSAs, and ESAs on the Credit Union Core System.
  • Stay current with continuing education requirements to meet licensing and compliance standards and any other required training through LPL Investment Services/TruStage.
  • Serve as a liaison between financial advisors and the member experience departments within the credit union, proactively coordinating efforts and facilitating communication to ensure seamless collaboration and enhance the overall member experience.
  • Participate in team meetings, record meeting minutes, and monitor progress on action items to ensure follow-through and accountability.


Operational & Compliance Tasks



  • Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Establish and maintain client files to meet compliance requirements.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems and financial planning tools.
  • Support audit preparation and internal reviews.

Education
Associates of Accounting (required)
Experience
3 - 5 years: *3-5 years of relevant professional experience is required. (required)
*Securities Industry Essentials, NASD Series 7, and Series 66 registrations preferred. (preferred)
*Must possess or be able to obtain a notary license as part of job responsibilities and secure the GA Life and Health license within 12 months of hire. (required)
*Strong mathematical skills are preferred. (preferred)
*Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. (required)
*Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities. (required)
*Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms such as Salesforce and Redtail. (required)
