Medical Receptionist - ENT Clinic Location: Norfolk, VA Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8 AM-5 PM Position Overview Seeking a dependable, customerfocused Medical Receptionist with Medical Records responsibilities for a highvolume ENT clinic. This role includes front desk operations, scheduling, EPIC tasks, and processing medical records for a rotating group of providers Key Responsibilities * Answer and triage incoming phone calls * Check patients in/out and provide front desk support * Verify insurance, collect copays, and update demographics * Schedule appointments and surgeries (including authorizations) * Ensure referrals are completed for each visit * Enter and manage medical records orders in EPIC * Process medical records requests and documentation * Handle faxing, scanning, and routing messages in EMR systems * Support a daily volume of 100-140 patients * Travel as needed between clinic sites Qualifications * Strong customer service experience * Computer savvy; EPIC experience preferred * Quick learner who can multitask in a fastpaced environment * Knowledge of health insurance and referral processes * Professional and patientfocused communication skills * Ability to stay calm under pressure * Highly reliable with strong attendance habits Work Environment * Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM * Dress Code: Black scrubs * Providers: 18 total; 3-5 onsite daily * Locations: Three ENT clinic sites within the local area Benefits & Culture * Strong benefits package * Tuition assistance programs * Patientcentered, communityfocused mission * Teaching environment with emphasis on learning and development Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, VA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
