Position Overview Job Title: Data Center Technician Workplace Type: On-site Location: 300 Corporate Drive, Charlestown, IN 47111, United States Job Category: Data Center Technician / Engineer Pay Rate: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour Job Description * Installation and decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment * Perform rack and stack, cable dressing, labeling, and hardware installation * Pull, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage copper and fiber cabling * Read, interpret, and redline blueprints, floor plans, and design documentation * Lay out and maintain MDF and IDF closets * Install ladder racking and seismic bracing above and below raised floors * Dress and furcate fiber trunks; perform fusion splicing (Ribbon / Single OSP / ISP) * Install, connect, and decommission network equipment * Conduct service swaps of live networking devices * Differentiate live cables from decommissioned cables * Operate DSX 5000 testers and OTDR testers * Program testers and download results to LinkWare / LinkWare Live * Save, verify, and submit test results to customers * Create and apply mass labels per port maps * Use FIM databases and scanners accurately * Maintain clean, organized work areas and complete all required paperwork * Follow all safety, quality, and production standards * Collaborate with technicians, leads, and stakeholders to remove project obstacles Top Skills - Must Haves * Data Center operations * Cabling (Copper & Fiber) * Rack and Stack * Hardware Installation Employee Value Proposition (EVP) * Long-term contract opportunity with a growing organization Company Benefits Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
